This move is designed to appeal to institutional players seeking reliable infrastructure over multiple fragmented options. By consolidating all BGB transfers under one framework, Morph attempts to offer enterprises a single audit surface and consistent behavior across chains.
In an effort to make interoperability the default standard rather than a recurring problem for developers, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said that the goal is to simplify cross-chain transactions. However, whether institutions share this view remains untested.
