Morpho, a modular lending protocol, has partnered with HSK Chain to become Hong Kong's onchain credit backbone. The partnership represents Morpho's first major anchor in Asia's most closely watched regulatory jurisdiction for crypto.

HSK Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built specifically around compliance, designed by HashKey Group to bridge traditional finance with onchain activity. Morpho slots into this ecosystem as the lending engine, allowing users to spin up customizable, isolated lending markets.

This modular architecture gives Morpho a structural advantage in compliance-heavy environments because each lending market can be configured independently. An institution can deploy a market that only accepts whitelisted borrowers with completed KYC, uses specific RWA collateral, and enforces custom liquidation parameters.
