Most Americans Disapprove of Trump's $1.4 Billion Crypto Earnings
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 63% of Americans disapprove of President Donald Trump's crypto earnings, which totaled over $1.4 billion last year.
The survey, conducted between August 14 and 17 among 1,166 US adults, also revealed that 69% of respondents believe Trump's private business interests influence his presidential decisions, with half of Republican respondents sharing this view.
Despite these findings, the White House has repeatedly dismissed criticism, stating that independent financial institutions manage the President's investments and that no conflicts exist.
Richard Painter, chief ethics lawyer under President George W. Bush, noted that Trump's mix of business and office is unprecedented in modern times.
