Most Americans View Trump's Crypto Earnings as Improper
A Reuters/Ipsos poll has revealed that most Americans are disapproving of President Donald Trump's reported $1.4 billion in crypto profits, with 63% calling it improper.
The online survey covered 1,166 US adults between August 14 and August 17 and found that only 32% of respondents defended the family's crypto earnings.
Among Republicans, a significant majority - 69% - viewed Trump's digital asset profits as appropriate, while 27% did not share this view.
White House officials have repeatedly dismissed criticism, stating that independent financial institutions manage the President's investments and that no conflicts of interest exist.
Congressional pressure has grown, with Senate Democrats requesting committee hearings into the national security implications of Trump's crypto holdings.
