MOUZ Contract Talks Collapse, jL Heads Back to Stand-In Role
Justinas 'jL' Lekavicius's stint at MOUZ was a success, but contract disagreements led to his departure. The Lithuanian rifler had been loaned to the German organization in April and May 2026, during which time he helped the team secure third-place finishes at PGL Astana and the CS Asian Championships.
The consistency of jL's play made MOUZ want to sign him permanently, but contract negotiations fell through. The organization has since moved on, promoting academy player xelex to the main roster as part of a broader overhaul.
jL had left Natus Vincere in July 2026, after a high-profile stint that included a title-winning run at IEM Rio 2024. He's currently playing for Team Vitality as a stand-in, covering events like BLAST Open Porto and PGL Masters Bucharest.
jL has made it clear that once his time at Vitality is over, he'll be looking for a full-time roster spot elsewhere.
