MSTR Institutional Investors Pile In With Another $1.2B in Q2
Top asset management firms have boosted their stakes in MSTR by over $1.2 billion in Q2, a trend that's gaining momentum all year. The increase comes on the heels of a larger inflow in Q1, when holders added $4.6 billion to their positions.
This brings the combined total for both quarters to nearly $5.8 billion. As of June 30, Capital International Investors held the largest institutional stake at 9.57% of outstanding shares, followed by Vanguard affiliates with a collective 8.31%, and BlackRock with a 5.32% position.
Strategy's Bitcoin holdings have also grown significantly, increasing to approximately 843,775 as of late July 2026, representing an 11% quarter-over-quarter rise and a 25% year-to-date increase. The company's average cost basis remains at around $75,476 per Bitcoin.
