MSTR Soars as Bitcoin Tops $80K, but Schiff Still Sees 'Death Spiral'
Bitcoin's recent surge above $80,000 has boosted Michael Saylor's company, MSTR, as its stock price nears $137.40.
This follows a similar trend to earlier this month when MSTR shares climbed alongside Strategy's Bitcoin holdings returning to a substantial unrealized profit.
Peter Schiff remains unconvinced, however, calling the corporate model 'a death spiral' due to its reliance on favorable capital-market conditions and preferred-stock obligations.
Despite Schiff's concerns, Strategy has taken steps to increase its financial flexibility by creating a $1.6 billion liquidity buffer for Bitcoin purchases and other treasury operations.
