MSTR Stock Climbs as Strategy Extends Bitcoin Buying Pause
MSTR stock rose in pre-market trading on Monday after its strategy disclosed it didn't buy any Bitcoin for a fifth consecutive week, extending its longest buying pause since nearly two years ago.
The company's average purchase price remained $75,476 per bitcoin, with an aggregate cost basis of $63.69 billion, as it continues to hold 843,775 BTC acquired at that rate.
Despite the rebound in prices, retail sentiment on Stocktwits turned more cautious for both Strategy and Bitcoin, shifting from 'neutral' to 'bearish' over the past day.
