Michael Saylor's Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR) has returned to profitability after Bitcoin's recent surge above $77,000.
The company holds 840,447 BTC, acquired for a total of $63.36 billion, and these holdings are now valued at approximately $65.5 billion as of early Friday.
This boost in value has generated a paper profit of more than $2 billion for MSTR, with the firm's average acquisition price for its Bitcoin reserves standing at roughly $75,400 per coin.
The rise in Bitcoin's price has directly benefited MSTR shareholders, with shares jumping over 11% in pre-market trading to around $126 on Friday morning.
