Mubadala Capital Tokenizes $75 Million Private Fund with Coinbase Investment
Mubadala Capital has launched tokenized access to an evergreen private market strategy through UAE-based infrastructure provider KAIO. The product attracted around $75 million from traditional and digital-asset investors, with Coinbase taking an undisclosed position in the fund.
The Mubadala Capital Alternative Solutions Fund is tied to the company's official website, which manages, advises, and administers over $600 billion through its businesses and partnerships.
KAIO handles the tokenized structure, investor access, and onchain administration across Base, Solana, and Sui networks. Coinbase's involvement marks a move beyond infrastructure support, with the exchange adding exposure to the fund on its balance sheet.
