Musk's X Money May Soon Tap Into XRP, Says XRPL Foundation CTO
The XRPL Foundation's CTO, Denis Angell, has expressed interest in integrating XRP with Elon Musk's payments platform, X Money. Currently, X Money operates as a fiat-based wallet, allowing users to hold balances and make transactions without any crypto or stablecoin support.
Angell sees the potential for an integration that would enable users to move funds from their X Money account into XRP and access yield-generating tools on the XRPL. This could be achieved through a connection between X's wallet product and XRPL's lending and asset-management features.
Angell believes that having 'some sort of integration, some sort of onboarding, on-ramp, off-ramp to XRP' within the X social app would be beneficial.
