MyDoge Shuts Down Doginals and DRC-20 Support Amid Maestro API Shutdown
MyDoge, one of the most popular Dogecoin wallets, has announced that it will suspend support for Doginals and DRC-20 tokens on September 17. This change affects only these specific asset types, not DOGE itself.
The move is a result of Maestro's decision to shut down its DOGE API services, which powers the functionality behind Doginals and DRC-20 tokens. The shutdown will take place on September 18, one day after MyDoge's cutoff.
Holders of Doginals or DRC-20 tokens in MyDoge need to migrate those specific assets to another compatible wallet before September 17. After that date, the assets remain intact on the Dogecoin blockchain itself, but MyDoge will no longer be able to display or move them.
