Nakamoto's M&A Push: Building Businesses for Hyperbitcoinization

Nakamoto Inc.'s Chairman and CEO David Bailey says that corporate adoption of Bitcoin is not a betrayal, but rather a necessary step towards 'hyperbitcoinization'. According to Bailey, companies will have to participate in the wider economy for Bitcoin adoption to spread.

Bailey expects mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to become a bigger part of Nakamoto's playbook. The company has already acquired BTC Inc. and UTXO Management in February, turning them into wholly owned subsidiaries in exchange for 364.8 million shares of common stock and assumed options. The deal was valued at about $81.6 million.

Nakamoto wants to build businesses that generate cash flow because it is something management can control, unlike Bitcoin's price. Bailey mentioned that several of Nakamoto's portfolio companies are already working on deals, with investors potentially seeing the results during the second half of this year.
