Nasdaq Bounces 0.43% on Crypto-Linked Stocks and Bitcoin Surge
The Nasdaq Composite index closed at 26,180.46 on Friday, up 0.43% from the previous day's close of 26,067.17.
This gain was largely driven by cryptocurrency-related stocks and Bitcoin itself, which surged towards $77,000, its best week in roughly two years.
Rising to a session high of 26,269.85, the index narrowly missed reaching a new intraday record but still managed to stay above its 52-week low of 20,690.25 and below its 52-week high of 27,190.21.
