Nasdaq Grants DeFi Technologies Second 180-Day Bid Price Extension

Share

DeFi Technologies, a Toronto-based financial technology firm behind Valour exchange-traded products, has received an additional 180-day compliance period from Nasdaq to regain its $1 minimum bid price requirement. The company's common shares trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker DEFT.

The initial 180-day window expired on September 1, but DeFi Technologies qualified for a second period due to meeting other listing standards, such as market value of publicly held shares. To regain compliance, the closing bid price must reach at least $1.00 for ten consecutive trading days within the new window, which runs into early March 2027.

The company will monitor the bid price and evaluate available options to cure the deficiency, but there is no assurance it will regain compliance within this timeframe or maintain Nasdaq's continued listing requirements.
