Nasdaq Invests $100 Million in Kraken Parent Company Payward

Nasdaq's venture capital division has invested $100 million in Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. This investment brings Payward's valuation to $21 billion.

The investment is part of Nasdaq's efforts to build infrastructure supporting tokenized stock trading. The partnership between Nasdaq and Kraken was announced in March.

In other news, Mistral AI has completed a €3 billion Series D financing round with a post-money valuation exceeding €21 billion.
