Share

Nasdaq has invested $100 million in Payward, the parent company of Kraken, valuing it at $21 billion. This significant investment makes Nasdaq one of the largest traditional finance venues to become a shareholder in a crypto exchange.

The partnership between Nasdaq and Payward will focus on tokenized equities, a growing area of interest for both digital assets and traditional finance.

Michael Geike, co-founder and CEO at Advanced Blockchain AG, highlighted the significance of this investment. He noted that the deal has been confirmed by five media outlets.
