NEAR Consolidation Ahead of Potential Golden Cross
Near Protocol (NEAR) has been consolidating its recent price gains after reaching $2.41 from an initial September start of about $1.80.
The latest daily candle has formed a spinning top pattern with limited real-body movement compared to its intraday range, suggesting neither buyers nor sellers have clearly established control around the current price.
Despite coming close to the $2.50-$2.55 range, NEAR has struggled to sustain momentum above this level, leading to potential short-term consolidation or correction.
The daily RSI is currently below 70, at about 67, indicating room for another upside attempt, while the moving-average structure of NEAR is growing more optimistic.
A Golden Cross could materialize as the 50-day moving average approaches the 200-day moving average, but a spinning top pattern cautions that recent gains may need to be absorbed before attempting another leg higher.
