NEAR Intents Unifies Cross-Chain Liquidity Across 31 Blockchains
NEAR Protocol has introduced NEAR Intents, a unified liquidity layer connecting multiple blockchains, assets, and applications. This expansion highlights a broader shift in crypto infrastructure, with users increasingly wanting cross-chain transactions handled automatically.
The system, currently supporting 31 chains and over 100 assets, allows users to interact with assets across different networks without managing each blockchain separately. Settlement typically takes about 30 seconds.
NEAR Intents connects 'any chain, any asset, and any agent,' according to the protocol, reflecting its focus on programmable cross-chain transactions. The system relies on solvers rather than requiring users to manually determine how a transaction should move between networks.
