Near Protocol's Stablecoin Boom Fuels Recovery Hopes
The Near Protocol is showing signs of recovery as its on-chain fundamentals improve and technical setup becomes more favorable. Despite still being below its yearly highs, investors are focusing on what's happening beneath the surface rather than short-term price swings.
The rapid expansion of stablecoin liquidity on the network has nearly doubled in just one week, indicating renewed capital inflows and rising ecosystem activity. According to DefiLlama data, the total stablecoin supply on Near Protocol surged 98% over the past seven days, reaching approximately $128 million.
The growth in stablecoin supply is a positive sign for investors as it often precedes stronger DeFi activity, increased user participation, and improved trading conditions. This milestone also places Near Protocol ahead of several established Layer-1 networks, including Cardano, Polkadot, and XDC, in terms of stablecoin supply.
