NectarPay Rolls Out Crypto Terminals Across Texas

NectarPay is testing demand for cryptocurrency payments among Texas retailers by deploying 11,000 handheld point-of-sale terminals across the state.

The rollout follows an initial deployment of 1,000 terminals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and aims to allow merchants to accept crypto payments directly from customers while reducing transaction costs associated with traditional card networks such as Visa and Mastercard.

NectarPay's system creates a non-custodial wallet that can receive payments across multiple blockchain networks, with the default payment option being the Texas-based TEXITcoin blockchain.
