Needham Sees Durable Crypto Rebound on Rotation, Low Sentiment
Nedham & Company believes the recent crypto rebound is durable and sustainable. Analyst John Todaro says the firm has three pillars behind this call, including rotation, which allows capital to shift back into crypto as retail trading in commodities such as oil and metals eases.
The second pillar is that much of the selling has already happened, with public companies offloading a record 57,000 Bitcoin worth $4.2 billion in the first half of 2026. Since the start of the fourth quarter of 2025, these companies have sold about 69,500 Bitcoin in total.
The third pillar is sentiment, as Needham's proprietary Crypto Euphoria Needham Diagram registered a reading of 13, which it classifies as 'max disinterest' and the lowest since the 2022 bear market. This typically signals a bottom, according to the firm.
