NES Token Recovery Creates Winners and Losers Among Users
Nesa's NES token resumed trading on Binance Alpha and regained Ethereum funding on Kraken after venue-specific interruptions caused by an August 24 security incident. The recovery rules, however, created winners and losers among users.
Binance Alpha used two eligibility snapshots to separate eligible swaps from refunds, while Kraken supported only Ethereum-based NES. Kraken's BNB Chain funding remained disabled.
The distinction between the two exchanges matters beyond their platforms: neither notice provides a universal migration route for NES held in private wallets.
