Neuberger Berman Enters Blockchain Fixed-Income Market with HINC
Neuberger Berman, an independent investment manager with over $600 billion in assets, has partnered with Securitize to launch its first tokenized fund called HINC. The Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) will give eligible investors blockchain-based access to a portfolio focused on higher-yielding fixed-income assets.
HINC invests the bulk of its funds in high-yield bonds and the rest may be dedicated to collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), bank loans, and different types of high-yield fixed-income securities. The fund is leveraged-free and exposes investors to a segment of the fixed-incomes market in which investors would typically want a higher income coupled with a higher level of credit risk.
HINC will be available on multiple chains, including Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui, from its launch. Securitize will assist with HINC's operational aspects, including issuance, transfer agency, fund administration, and associated tokenization services.
