Neuberger Berman Enters Tokenized Fund Market with High-Yield Offering
Securitize and Neuberger Berman have teamed up to launch the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC) on August 18. The fund will primarily invest in high-yield bonds, as well as CLOs, leveraged loans, and other fixed-income assets.
The tokenized interests of HINC are available on four blockchains: Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui. Anil Abraham, Head of Product Management at Neuberger, stated that the firm is bringing its existing fixed-income investment approach to an on-chain format.
HINC is not a retail product; investors must qualify as accredited or qualified purchasers and complete applicable onboarding, KYC/AML, and jurisdictional checks. The fund's portfolio will expose investors to high-yield credit markets and the associated risks of credit, interest-rate, liquidity, and market risk.
