Neuberger Securitize Launches Tokenized Fixed-Income Fund Across Four Blockchains
Neuberger, an asset manager, has partnered with Securitize to launch its first tokenized fixed-income fund, called the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund (HINC). The new fund will invest primarily in high-yield bonds and offer additional exposure to collateralized loan obligations and leveraged loans.
The HINC fund is designed to provide investors with higher yields amid heated competition for corporate and government funding. Neuberger's fixed-income platform manages over $230 billion in assets, while the firm as a whole oversees around $613 billion.
Securitize will provide the infrastructure to issue and manage tokenized shares across four blockchain networks: Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Sui (SUI). The launch comes at a time when investors are demanding higher yields, as Saxo chief investment strategist Charu Chanana noted in a client note.
The emerging market regime 'may reward investors for recognising that capital has a price again', according to Chanana. Neuberger will serve as subadvisor to the tokenized fund for the first time. Securitize's shares rose around 5% on Tuesday morning, reaching a market capitalization of approximately $838 million.
