Neverless Secures MiCA Licence as London-Founded Crypto Platform Seeks Global Expansion
Neverless is a London-founded crypto and investment platform that has gained significant traction since its founding in June 2022 by three former Revolut executives. The company has raised a $6.7 million seed round led by Lakestar and Connect Ventures and boasts over 100,000 users with more than $10 billion in trading volume.
Neverless operates through three EU-regulated legal entities: Neverless SIA (Latvia, MiCA), Boku Securities SIA (Latvia, MiFID II), and Neverless Labs S.L. (Spain, pre-MiCA national registration). The company's MiCA licence, granted by Latvijas Banka on May 20, 2026, covers five crypto-asset services, including custody and administration of crypto-assets, exchange of crypto-assets for funds and other crypto-assets, portfolio management on crypto-assets, and transfer services.
The MiCA authorisation allows Neverless SIA to passport its services across the EEA by notification rather than country-by-country licensing. The company has used this route in full, with its services listed as notified to all 30 EEA states. In addition, France's AMF independently lists it on its MiCA whitelist, passported June 22, 2026.
Neverless' co-founder Mikael Peydayesh stated that the company aims to become a complete investment platform, catering to all investor profiles, and that the five services covered by the MiCA licence are essential to achieving this goal. The company's ambition is to offer a suite of investment products, including traditional assets and derivatives, starting with stocks.
