Nexus Inc. Exits Crypto Market, Reports Quarterly Loss Amid Housing Exploration
Nexus Inc., parent company of FGNX, has posted a quarterly loss of $56.9 million as it exits the cryptocurrency market and explores opportunities in housing.
The firm's decision to leave crypto comes after a period of significant losses, with a net loss from operations of $5.2 billion for the first half of 2026, compared to $3.8 billion for the same period last year.
Nexus Inc.'s total revenue stood at $473 million for the six months ended June 30, a slight increase from $444 million in 2025. However, general and administrative expenses reached $5.4 billion in the first half of 2026, compared to $3.9 billion last year.
The company's stockholders' equity stood at $64.1 billion as of June 30, down from $143.5 billion a year ago. The number of shares outstanding was 5,609,758.
