Neynar is seeking a new operator for Farcaster, a decentralized social protocol it acquired just seven months ago. The move comes as revenue for Farcaster has plummeted to $377,000 from July 1 through August 17, down significantly from its peak of $35.43 million in the first quarter of this year.

Neynar is looking for a new operator not only for Farcaster but also for Clanker, a token-launch platform, and its developer platform. The decision to seek out a new operator comes at a time when the company's revenue has taken a significant hit.
