NFLX Stock Bounces off 52-Week Low Amid Market Skepticism
The tokenized stock of Netflix (NFLX) is trading at $78.56 on Binance, just 39 cents above its 52-week low of $65.08 set in July. Despite a record quarterly high revenue of $12.56 billion and EPS beat of $0.80, the market remains skeptical due to weaker Q3 guidance and cash burn.
The short-term technical picture shows a deeply oversold extreme with Stochastic %K at 6.40 and %D at 5.12, which historically precedes near-term bounces. However, momentum is deadlocked, and price is pinned below the 7-day SMA ($79.94) and 20-day SMA ($80.41). The EMA-12 at $79.82 serves as the first meaningful ceiling for any bounce.
The business side of Netflix isn't broken, but it's dented. The company's decision to stop reporting semi-annual viewership data quarterly and its free cash flow print of $1.53 billion down nearly 40% from a year ago rattled institutional confidence. Bill Ackman's re-entry into the stock is seen as a constructive fundamental signal.
