NFT Market Recovery Signs Emerge on OpenSea
The NFT market has shown signs of recovery in 2026, according to data from OpenSea. Four active projects across gaming, art, and PFP categories were tracked on July 31, 2026. The collections showed a mix of steady interest and short bursts of activity.
Gigaverse ROMs, an Abstract chain gaming project, saw its floor price move up 4.6% in a day, indicating slow but steady demand. Friendship Bracelets by Alexis André, a legacy Ethereum art piece from November 2022, still logged strong daily turnover of over 45 ETH, showing that older projects haven't lost their base.
DORIAN PEPENTICE, which just finished minting in July 2026, had an unusually high holder count at 56.2% of supply, reflecting early community interest. However, its floor price remained very low. fwogs, a PFP collection on Ethereum, ranked among the week's best performers by raw dollar volume, but its floor price dropped 27.1% in a day, indicating mixed sentiment.
The data shows that growth in unique holders matters more than short-term price jumps, and liquidity remains thin across most collections. New drops on OpenSea add fresh activity but carry more risk due to their limited trading history.
