NFT Market Surges Past $2B Again Amid Blue-Chip Rally
The NFT market has surpassed $2 billion in value for the first time since early Q1, driven by a 54% increase over the past month.
This rebound is concentrated among blue-chip collections, with Bored Ape Yacht Club floors rising 81% over the past 30 days and Pudgy Penguins pushing above $5 in Ethereum, gaining more than 20% on the week.
However, despite this growth, global NFT sales fell to around $175 million in April from $304 million in February, with active users and total transactions both down by nearly half, according to CryptoSlam figures.
The Telegram blockchain has also seen significant activity, pulling $39.8 million in NFT trading volume in March, largely driven by Telegram-native collectibles such as Telegram Gifts, which accounted for 58% of TON's NFT volume.
