Nigeria's Crypto Space Gets a Boost with SEC-Supervised Platforms
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria has expanded its list of crypto platforms operating under regulatory supervision through the Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme (ARIP).
This move gives Nigerian crypto traders regulated alternatives after years of relying on largely unregulated exchanges.
The list now includes names like GIGX Technologies and KuCoin Nigeria, in addition to pioneers Busha and Quidax.
The Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme (ARIP) is the SEC's way of saying: 'We know that you're operating before we make the rules. Come, let's regulate you properly instead of shutting you down.'
