$NIGHT Airdrop Deadline Looms as Cardano DRep Warns Eligible Holders
A popular Cardano DRep has issued an important reminder to ADA holders about the Midnight airdrop, which is part of the Glacier Drop. The initiative distributes 24 billion $NIGHT tokens across eight supported blockchain ecosystems.
The distribution focuses on community participation and involves allocating native assets from these networks. Among them, Cardano received the largest allocation at 50%, followed by Bitcoin holders at 20% and others collectively receiving the remaining 30%. The eligible users still have time to redeem their $NIGHT allocations, with the current redemption phase running until September 5, 2026.
Data from Cexplorer shows that Cardano has 1.3 million stakers, but only about 81,763 $NIGHT holders are recorded on the network. This disparity suggests many eligible participants may still have unredeemed $NIGHT allocations. As a result, Jaromir Tesar's reminder emphasizes the importance of checking eligibility and completing the redemption process before the applicable deadline.
$NIGHT continues to face considerable selling pressure in the crypto market, having declined 38% over the past 30 days. At press time, $NIGHT traded at $0.01719, with a market valuation of about $285.43 million and placing it around the 98th position among the largest cryptocurrencies globally.
