Nillion Unveils Dusk, Bringing Encrypted Markets to Ethereum

Nillion's Dusk is the first live phase of its seven-stage roadmap to Encrypted Markets on the Ethereum network. The system introduces Covenants, which allow users to create conditional instructions and post them onchain in encrypted form.

A trader can pre-save an action and trigger it based on a price level and future time period. When the trigger is reached, Nillion's decentralized nodes help unlock the instruction for settlement.

The system does not rely on a single operator to decide when an instruction becomes accessible, but once posted, Covenants are non-cancelable. An instruction that doesn't happen at all can expire without being publicized.
