NMT Appoints Experienced DeFi Architect As CTO
New Market Trading (NMT), the first wealth management firm to move investment accounts onto the blockchain, has appointed Ajdin Kahrovic as its Chief Technology Officer. This appointment is significant because it brings on board an engineer with extensive experience in fintech and DeFi.
Kahrovic joins NMT on its launch day, having previously architected defi.app from zero to $40B+ in cumulative trading volume. He has over 11 years of engineering leadership experience across fintech, Web3, and DeFi. His expertise spans blockchain architecture, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure.
NMT clients own their investment accounts directly on the blockchain via ERC-4337 smart account technology. The NMT team holds a delegated permission to execute strategies but cannot withdraw or redirect funds. Security is crucial in this model, and Kahrovic's appointment ensures that the platform's technical foundation is designed and maintained by someone who has already carried out this responsibility at scale.
