NNE Stock Rises 4% After Winning US Air Force Contract
NANO Nuclear Energy (NNE) saw its stock rise 4% on Monday after winning a contract from the U.S. Air Force's innovation arm, AFWERX.
The company was selected for a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract to develop its KRONOS MMR energy system.
The contract kicked off on July 21, 2026, and focuses on addressing energy challenges within the Department of the Air Force.
NANO Nuclear's CEO James Walker said this award is a 'meaningful step' in the company's defense commercialization strategy.
