NoOnes Crypto Marketplace Shuts Down Amid EU Sanctions
NoOnes, a peer-to-peer crypto marketplace, has shut down due to sanctions that have affected its operations. The platform, which served over 2.5 million users in three years, was forced to wind down on August 17 and close its doors on August 21.
The company cited EU sanctions as the reason for its closure, stating that it had explored every possible option but continuing NoOnes was no longer sustainable. The team urged users to withdraw their funds immediately via the Bitcoin network or USDT on TRON by August 23, warning that balances tied to the platform may be flagged after this date.
NoOnes joins a growing list of crypto closures in 2026, with over 120 projects shut down and $687.1M in disclosed funding lost. DeFi accounted for 40 closures, while centralized exchanges were responsible for only 7.
