Notabene Launches Revert for Safe Post-Settlement Control Layer
Notabene has launched Revert, a new infrastructure that enables institutions to safely control, authorize, and track returns of settled crypto transactions. This capability has never existed in blockchain payments before, even when regulation requires it.
The Notabene Network connects over 2,200 regulated institutions across 100+ jurisdictions and has processed over $2 trillion in compliant transaction volume. Revert is available today on this network, which will help close the gap between regulatory obligation and available infrastructure.
New regulations require institutions to return funds in certain cases, but until now, there has been no coordinated mechanism for post-settlement workflows in crypto transactions. This has left institutions relying on manual, fragmented, and high-risk processes.
Pelle Braendgaard, CEO of Notabene, said: 'Blockchain finality makes sense for settlement. It doesn't make sense for everything else institutional payments actually require.'
