The rapid ascent of Notcoin follows its integration with The Open Network (TON) blockchain, initially developed by Telegram. Although Telegram separated from TON in 2020 due to legal disputes with the SEC, the blockchain continues to be managed by an open-source community.
Notcoin now boasts over 1.6 million on-chain holders, surpassing other popular memecoins like Shiba Inu and Pepe. Its market capitalization ranks it 80th, trading at $0.0127, a significant rise from $0.00489 just a week ago.
