iPronics, a Spanish startup based in Valencia, has secured $125 million in funding for its ONE platform, which enables data centers to physically rewire their internal connections on the fly.

The company's technology uses silicon photonics to create optical circuit switches that can reconfigure in sub-milliseconds, reducing idle time for GPUs and power consumption by hyperscalers deploying hundreds of thousands of computing accelerators.

iPronics' core product, ONE, has been shipping for about a year now, working with unnamed providers in the AI infrastructure space. The new funding will be used to expand operations at its Santa Clara office, where CEO Christian Dupont aims to help data centers fully utilize their GPUs without compromising performance.

The investment was led by Maverick Silicon and Light Street Capital, with Nvidia participating alongside other investors. This brings iPronics' total funding to $177 million.
