NVIDIA Posts Record-Breaking Revenue Amid Rising AI Demand and Geopolitical Uncertainty
NVIDIA reported record-breaking revenue of $96.2 billion for its fiscal Q2 2027, up 106% year-over-year. The company's Data Center segment grew even faster, reaching $89.0 billion in sales with a 117% increase.
The results exceeded analyst expectations, with non-GAAP diluted EPS at $2.22 and a non-GAAP gross margin of 75.0%. NVIDIA also returned about $26.0 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and cash dividends during the quarter.
However, the company's guidance for Q3 is more cautious, setting revenue at $108.0 billion with no Data Center compute revenue from China included in the outlook. This exclusion has sparked concerns among crypto traders, who have lived through export controls before and are now bracing for potential supply chain disruptions.
