NVIDIA has partnered with SpaceXAI to provide its Vera CPUs for advanced AI expansion. The Vera CPU, specifically designed for AI agents, will power agentic AI applications and orbital AI computing through SpaceXAI's Starmind satellite initiative.

The Vera CPU features 88 custom Olympus cores and delivers up to 1.8x faster task completion compared to traditional x86 processors. This collaboration extends beyond Earth as SpaceXAI plans to deploy its first-generation Starmind satellite, integrating a Vera Rubin NVL72 system optimized for orbital AI operations.

NVIDIA's VP of hyperscale and high-performance computing, Ian Buck, explained that agentic AI requires 'a new kind of computing system, one built not only to generate answers but to take action.' Mike Nicolls, President of SpaceXAI, added that Vera's bandwidth and performance capability will allow them to maximize the output of their GPUs while running intensive orchestration workloads.
