NVIDIA's Vera Rubin GPU Sets New Efficiency Benchmark with 30x Improvement
NVIDIA has made significant strides in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) with its latest GPU, Vera Rubin NVL72. This new platform boasts a staggering 30x improvement in efficiency per megawatt over Blackwell systems, according to NVIDIA's recent announcement.
The AgentX benchmark, developed by SemiAnalysis, measures AI hardware's efficiency in serving agentic workloads under real-world conditions. Vera Rubin NVL72 demonstrated up to 30x higher AI-factory throughput per megawatt compared to Blackwell GB300 NVL72.
This leap comes as NVIDIA's architecture shifts to extreme co-design principles, integrating GPUs, CPUs, and networking components to optimize energy efficiency and reduce latency.
