NYT Connections Puzzle Challenges Readers with Hidden Word Connections

The New York Times published its Connections puzzle for September 11, 2026. Players had to divide 16 words into four groups of four based on hidden connections.

The categories included people hired for events, ways to internalize information, self-care practices, and things that can be pushed metaphorically.

Players were given hints: Yellow (people you might hire for an event), Green (ways to take in information), Blue (activities supporting well-being), and Purple (things that can be figuratively 'pushed').

The one-word clues from each group helped reveal the intended connections: BAND, ABSORB, EXERCISE, and AGENDA.
