Odesa Region Ranks Second in Cryptocurrency Holdings Among Ukrainian Officials
The National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) released an analysis of cryptocurrency holdings declared by Ukrainian officials in 2025. The Odesa region ranked second among all regions, with a total of 99 million hryvnias worth of cryptocurrency declared.
This is in addition to the capital city's top spot, where officials declared over 265 million hryvnias' worth of cryptocurrency. Overall, Ukrainian officials reported holding cryptocurrencies totaling nearly 839 million hryvnias as of the end of 2025.
The most popular cryptocurrencies among declarants include Tether (USDT) and Bitcoin, which were declared in quantities valued at over 278 million and 150 million hryvnias respectively.
