Odos Decentralized Exchange Aggregator Shuts Down July 30
Odos, a popular decentralized exchange aggregator, has announced it is shutting down. The application will enter read-only mode on July 27 and all company-operated services will permanently shut down on July 30, 2026.
The protocol allows users to find efficient token swap routes across numerous DEXs and liquidity sources without acting as a custodian of user funds. Instead, traders connect their own wallets and execute on-chain transactions, retaining full control over their assets.
Existing users can continue to use the platform freely until July 27, but from that date until July 30, they will only be able to view wallet balances and transaction histories. New account registrations, wallet creation through Odos, and new limit orders were disabled on July 23rd.
Odos is non-custodial, meaning the company doesn't hold any of its users' funds. Users with self-custody wallets can continue using another aggregator or DeFi application after Odos shuts down.
