Odos Decentralized Exchange Aggregator to Shut Down Services by July 30
Odos, a decentralized exchange aggregator, announced on July 23 that it will shut down all services by July 30, 2026. The platform, which routed $104 billion in cumulative trading volume since its launch in 2022, cited a significant decline in monthly volume as the reason for its closure.
The team behind Odos stated that new account signups, wallet creation, and limit orders stopped on July 23, with the app entering read-only mode on July 27. This means users can still check balances and history but will not be able to place new trades.
The shutdown affects users who created wallets inside Odos through Google, Apple, or email logins, as they need to export their private keys or move assets to a self-custody wallet before the deadline. Traders with open limit orders or unfilled positions are advised to close them before July 27.
The ODOS token will continue to run independently of the shutdown, and the Odos DAO has stated that it will share its own plans later. The team warned users about potential scams tied to the closure, advising them to ignore any site or message offering an Odos relaunch unless it comes from the DAO's official channels.
