Odos Protocol Shuts Down DEX Aggregator Amid Declining Trading Volume
Odos Protocol has announced that it will shut down its decentralized exchange aggregator on July 30. The platform has instructed users to withdraw their assets before this date, but did not provide any further information on why the decision was made.
The shutdown follows a sharp decline in trading volume over the past two years, with data from DefiLlama showing that Odos recorded approximately $169 million in DEX aggregator trading volume during July 2026. This is a significant drop from its monthly peak of roughly $7.8 billion reached in December 2024.
The announcement clarified that the Odos DAO operates independently from the company behind the protocol, and will communicate its own plans separately. The ODOS token will continue to exist on-chain despite the shutdown of the operating business.
