OKX Expands Beyond Crypto with Stocks, ETFs, Commodities
OKX has evolved into one of the world's largest and longest-running digital asset platforms. Founded in 2017, it now holds licenses and regulatory approvals across major markets including the UAE, US, Europe, Singapore, South America, and Australia.
The platform offers a unified account system that allows collateral to be managed efficiently across positions, with advanced trading capabilities including spot, perpetual swaps, futures, and options. Standard global spot fees start at 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker, while futures start at 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker.
OKX has expanded its product range significantly in 2026, offering 24/7 stock and ETF-linked derivatives in eligible markets, covering names such as Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla alongside SPY, QQQ, gold, silver, and oil. It also introduced pre-IPO perpetual futures providing exposure to private companies like OpenAI and Anthropic.
The platform has strengthened its institutional profile through a strategic partnership with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which invested in OKX in March 2026 at a $25 billion valuation and took a board seat. This partnership aims to connect OKX users with ICE futures and future NYSE tokenized-equity markets, subject to regulatory approval.
